Floor Depot Pro is a one stop source for flooring. We carry eighteen waterproof floors across three collections, we render them into a photo of your actual room before you spend anything, and in Chicagoland our own crews lay them.
Who we are
Floor Depot Pro started in [ year ] with a simple frustration: buying a floor online means choosing from a photograph, and a photograph cannot tell you how a plank width reads in a real room or what a colour does under your own light.
So we do it differently. Order samples and we send them free. Send us a photo of the room and we render the floor into it, so you see the finished thing before you commit. Then, if you are in Chicago or the surrounding suburbs, we lay it ourselves — the same people who sold it to you, accountable for how it goes down.

Free room renderings
Send a photo of your room and we render the floor into it. A sample shows you the colour in your hand; a rendering shows you what nine inch planks do to a narrow hallway, and how the tone sits against your cabinets.
Installation in Chicagoland
Our own crews, not a subcontractor list. We measure, pull up the old floor, prepare the subfloor, lay the new one and take the waste away. Available across Chicago and the surrounding suburbs.

Freight to all 48 contiguous states. Rates are worked out at checkout from your ZIP code and the weight of your boxes, so there are no surprises after you have paid.
Waterproof, all of it
Every floor we carry is waterproof rigid core. Kitchens, bathrooms, basements, laundry rooms and anywhere a dog lives. Water sits on top and wipes away rather than swelling the seams.
The right amount, first time
Flooring ships in whole boxes, never loose square feet. Our calculator takes your room, adds a waste allowance for cuts, and rounds up to boxes, so you are not stopping mid job to order two more.

Do I have to be a contractor to buy from Floor Depot Pro?
No. We serve homeowners, landlords, flippers, installers and builders. Everyone sees the same products and the same pricing online. If you are buying at volume, get in touch and we will quote the job rather than the box.
How do I get samples?
Add them to your cart and check out. Samples are free and arrive in a few business days. Look at them on your own floor, in your own light, at different times of day — a floor that looks warm in a showroom can read grey in a north-facing room.
Order samples and you can also send us a photo of the room for a free rendering.
Do you install the flooring you sell?
In Chicago and the surrounding suburbs, yes — with our own crews. That covers measuring, removing the old floor, subfloor preparation, installation and taking the waste away.
Outside that area we ship the flooring but cannot install it. Use the ZIP checker above to see where you stand, or request an installation quote and we will confirm.
How much flooring should I order?
Measure the room, add about ten percent for cuts and offcuts, then round up to whole boxes. For a diagonal layout, herringbone, or a room with a lot of angles, allow fifteen to twenty percent instead.
The calculator on every product page does this for you and tells you the box count before you add anything to the cart. Flooring ships in full boxes only, so it always rounds up — running short halfway through a job is far worse than having one box spare.
How does delivery work?
Flooring ships by freight to all 48 contiguous states. The rate is calculated at checkout from your ZIP code and the total weight of your boxes, so you see it before you pay.
Delivery is kerbside on a pallet. A box of flooring is heavy, so arrange help to move it inside, or ask us about installation if you are in the Chicago area.
Can I return flooring if I change my mind?
[ Set your real returns window and who pays return freight, then delete this note. ] Unopened boxes can be returned within [ X days ]. Opened or installed flooring cannot be returned, which is exactly why the samples and the renderings are free.
Is every floor really waterproof?
Yes. Everything we carry is waterproof rigid core, so the plank itself will not swell, warp or stain when water sits on it. That makes it suitable for bathrooms, kitchens, basements and below-grade rooms where laminate or solid wood would fail.
Waterproof refers to the plank. A standing leak can still get under a floating floor and affect the subfloor, so a burst pipe still needs dealing with promptly.
